Description
Alp Mora (Flims)
Description

One of the most spectacular bike routes of the Grisons Oberland is found near Flims. The trail runs from Alp Mora to the Bargis plateau.

The alpine highways starts at the village entrance of Trin and will take you 1200 metres up to Muletg under Alp Mora. The steep road now becomes a single-trail descent through steep slopes and rock outcrops. This stretch is recommended only for experienced riders who don’t suffer from vertigo and you should carry your bike, even in dry conditions. But the views of Flims are stunning. From Alp Lavadignas, take the steep mountain path to Bargis, then start descending a few metres on the paved road until you reach the first right serpentine. Right after, you’ll see a rough forest road which makes for a good shortcut. A few metres back on the road, a flowy single trail starts off to the left that you’ll take to Trin Mulin. On this old main road, you’ll ride down the valley to Digg, where the marked single trail begins at the end of the village. In Tamins, take the old cow path to the banks of the Rhine, where the fun single trail to Rossboden runs along the shore. You can reach the Chur railway station via the signposted cycling paths.
