Description

Starting at Alp Raschil, there is an excellent descent from Lenzerheide into the Domleschg valley. This wonderful tour starts off in Chur.

From Chur, ride along the tracks of the Arosa train until reaching the town of Sand, then ride uphill toward Passugg. Follow the marked mountain bike path uphill via Churwalden and Parpan until reaching the first houses in Valbella. Then, ride further up to Alp Spina and on to Alp Lavoz until finally making the steep ascent to the pass at Alp Raschil. This is the starting point of a first-class descent: The way to Alp Rachil is challenging and rough, snaking through a larch forest and leading through several serpentines before reaching Alp Tamil. From there a steep, rough alpine path leads into the Domleschg valley past Canovasee to Tomils and finally along the Polenweg path to Tamins. Following the left bank of the Rhine, you will then reach Chur.
