The Chörbschhorn is an inconspicuous summit near Davos; however, it features one of the longest singletrail descents in the area. The return trip over the Rinerhorn makes it a highlight for enduro bikers.
The best starting point for the tour is on the Weissfluhjoch with a descent along the cliffs to Strela Pass. From Strela pass, a singletrail leads over several tiers to the Chörbschhorn. If you would like to see the beautiful panoramic view from the summit, you will have to push your bike up a short but rough stretch. The descent leads from the mountain lodge along a singletrail over the ridge to the Stafelalp, where a marked mountain biking route continues on downhill. At the point where the official route curves and becomes an alpine road, turn off onto the singletrail that leads downhill along the slope line. This track eventually leads to the main road by Frauenkirch, which you can follow to the valley station of the Rinerhorn cableway. Take the gondola lift to the mountain station, where a gravel road leads up a moderate incline to the Äbirügg. This is the starting point for the fast-paced final descent. The descent leads along the mountain ridge through the steep forest landscape to the Heidboden terrace and then on a small road into the Sertig valley. From there, follow signs along the marked route back to Davos.
