On the Giro Val Müstair one finds, as the name implies, the Val Müstair, rounded by a super tour rich in singletrails.
From Sta. Maria, you ride initially to Valchava, where (after the church) you follow a steep asphalt road to Tschierv. From here you reach the Ofenpass over the main road. At the pass summit, a trail leads in the direction of Alp da Munt. After Alp da Munt, you ride onto a road past avalanche barriers to the next junction, where you turn left onto a trail. This meanders like a natural BMX track as a single trail through the terrain. After a narrow bridge over the small brook, the trail becomes broader again and leads to Alp Champatsch. Next you go on the single trail under the alpine road to Lü, and, after the village, ignore the first switchback from the main road, so that you continue straight onto a new single trail. Immediately after the brook, go sharply to the right back on the main road, which follows up the mountain for about 200 metres. On the left side, you will find the entrance to the next trail that leads down to Fuldera. After the village, there follows a short climb to a bridge. Whoever has not had enough of single trails, may ride here to the left over a path to the main road. The path leads left after the grey Wegmacherdepot over a small bridge to the trail on the valley‘s left side. You follow the soon-to-be-reached asphalt road until the first switchback. Then it moves right, away onto the next trail. Make a sharp right at the crossroads. After having returned to the dirt road, follow this to a small bridge where you will again make a left onto a flowing trail and take this to Sta. Maria.
