Description
Läntahütte (Vals)
Description

The ascent from Vals in the direction of Läntahütte begins without problems on the road up to the Lake Zervreil dam. 600 high metres are overcome here. Follow the southern shore, where the path soon changes into a dirt track leading up to the hospitable Lampertsch Alp. Many mountain bikers cycle up to this point, then turn back. The 100-metre-high singletrack trail up to the Läntahütte is quite worthwhile, however, because of the exceptional construction of the SAC cabins. Return to Saumur along the ascent route. At the Hotel Zervreila, turn right onto a singletrack trail, which continues slightly above the ascent road towards Vals. At the end, cross the ascent route twice and continue down the singletrack trail to the first houses of Vals.
