Description

The upper end of the Prättigau valley near Klosters offers a wild landscape and bike routes for all skill levels.

From the town centre of Klosters, ride for a few meters on the main road in the direction of Davos, then turn off toward the «Selfranga» section of the town. After passing the last houses, a forest lane turns off to the left and quickly turns into a singletrail. Follow this trail until it becomes an alpine road. This road leads to the Vereina mountain hut deep within the Vereina valley. From the hut, follow the hiking trails downhill, then climb another 150 meters uphill along the Verstancia river. Another fast-paced singletrail begins at Alp Sparra, which leads in the direction of Klosters. After Alp Pardenn, this track turns into an alpine road until reaching the entrance to the hamlet of Monbiel. Near the entrance to the hamlet, take the forest path that turns off to the right. Bear left at the crossing on the somewhat rough path. The path soon turns into a challenging singletrail, which gains flow after the first serpentines and eventually leads back to Klosters.
