Panoramaweg Davos
Description

The Parsenn tour is a classic in the Davos area. It leads over a long panoramic path with a great flow from Strela Pass to the Gotschna Ridge. The return trip to Davos leads along thrilling singletrails over the Schwarzseealp and Wolfgang Pass.

From Davos Platz, the route leads along the Talstrasse through the hamlet of Davos. Once reaching the height of the Hotel Cresta, turn off to the left and begin the ascent to the Schatzalp. The route starts out on asphalt and crosses the promenade. After reaching the last houses, follow the wide, paved road. From the Schatzalp, the route continues to Strela pass and becomes increasingly steep and rough. Once reaching Strela pass, turn onto the panorama trail. This trail leads high above Davos to the ridgeway and on past the Parsennhütte on Gotschna ridge. From the Gotschnagrat, a difficult trail leads downhill to the Schwarzseealp and on to the floor of the Gotschnaboden. Another singletrail then leads back to Wolfgang Pass, where the bike path leads back to Davos.

Tipps:

  • The long ascent from Davos to the Strela Pass can be covered with the Parsennbahn. From the Weissfluhjoch a rapid descent through the Haupter Täli leads over the Felsenweg to the Strela Pass.
  • The Panoramaweg is also very popular with hikers, please plan your tour early in the morning or in the evening!
