The long circular tour through Val Lumnezia and Obersaxen encompasses the entire region and gives the best impression of the magnificent region. Those who do not dare to take a route with more than 2000 meters of altitude, shorten the route to their needs.
The first few metres after Lumbrein consist of an asphalt road leading towards Vrin, but then it bends right and climbs to the Alp da Lumbrein. A technical singletrail descends for a few metres until the next ascent to Alp Nova begins in Val Gronda. From Alp Nall you can reach Alp Prada where the asphalt track heads downhill towards Meierhof. After an even stretch, a technically challenging singletrail forks to the right above the hamlet of Tristel. Follow this track and after you reach 220 metres of altitude difference go right and continue on to Miraniga. Head up a few metres on the asphalt road and then turn left onto a rugged alpine path that soon transforms into a singletrail which you can follow to the ski lift. Circle the Piz Mundaun on the mountain road and turn right to the Alp Bual. The descent leads to the cable car middle station where a flowing single track then leads to Vella. Ride through the village and follow a gravel road towards Rumein, then in a right-hand curve take the singletrail down to the village of Peiden. The mountain road leads you down to the valley floor. Follow the mountain road to Uors and Surcasti and take the gravel road to climb over the Glennerbach to Silgrin. Surin can be reached via an asphalted mountain road which then winds back towards Lumbrein.
