Val d'Uina
Description

The classic Val-d’Uina tour leads past Nauders and Reschen Pass to Schlinig Pass and downhill through the spectacular cliffs.

The route starts in Sur En near Scuol and leads along the bike path to Martina. This is the starting point for the ascent over the Norbertshöhe and on to Nauders. Continue along the bike path to Reschen and ride along the western bank of Reschensee lake to St. Valentin. On the southern end of Haidersee lake, ride uphill to the Brugger Alm in the Val di Zerzer valley and over the Forcella to Sesvenna mountain lodge. This is the starting point for the Val d’Uina descent a bit past Schlinig Pass. The single track leads along a massive cliff wall, and for safety reasons it is recommended to push your bike. After the tricky stretches, the path gains more flow and takes a fast-paced course through Arvenwälder to Alp Uina Dadaint. From there, the path is as steep as it is fast. The route through the wild lower Val d’Uina valley leads back to Sur En.

Shuttles: From Scuol to Nauders with the Postbus

Tip: Ride the tour in two days with overnight accomodation in Nauders, Resia, St. Valentin and at the Sesvennahütte
