The Alpentour in Davos is one of the classic bike routes in Davos with attractive singletrails linking the various alps on the east side of the Landwasser valley.
In Davos, ride up the gravel road to Schatzalp and continue uphill to Podestatenalp. This is followed by short downhill ride to another gravel road, where you’ll find yourself again going uphill. Bikes are banned on this section of the road, so you’ll have to push your bike to the beginning of the singletrail at Alberti steam, where you can jump back into the saddle again. The trail initially leads upward, but is passable. Once you get to Grüeni alp, you’ll stay on altitude until you get to the Erbalpen. The road to Ussererb is over an gravel road, behind which starts the next singletrail section to Stafelalp. Ride along the edge of the forest to reach Chummeralp, then the Bärentaler alp. Now it’s time to head downhill and take the roads above Davos Glaris and Davos Frauenkirch back to Davos.
Note: The route can also be riden in the reverse direction.
